Presale

A Study in Substrate: This collection marks a rigorous return to drawing as the primary architecture of the studio. In these two series, the substrate is not merely a surface but a structural participant. The Thesis (Human) and Conformation (Equine) are executed on two distinct historical papers chosen for their specific resistance and tooth. The heavy, handmade topography of St. Armand cotton rag anchors the deep, atmospheric velvet of compressed charcoal, while the delicate strength of Japanese Kitakata offers a translucent ground for the forensic precision of graphite. Together, they explore the tension between the weight of the subject and the fragility of the material.

Currently featured at Washington Gallery in Waco, Texas, this collection focuses on my large-scale paintings. The display highlights major works from two of my signature series: the culturally rich La Lotería and the expansive Windows of the World. These powerful, statement-sized pieces demonstrate the impact of my work at a significant scale and are available for purchase directly through the gallery.

Exhibition:

Before It Fades

Before It Fades captures fleeting moments and the quiet beauty of impermanence. Through layers of color and abstracted horizons, these paintings explore themes of memory, preservation, and the passage of time.
